By using maeil ("Service," operated by CB Industries LLC), you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
maeil allows event organizers to send calendar invitations to recipients via SMS by using a phone number as a calendar guest address (e.g., 5551234567@maeil.cc). Recipients receive a text message with event details and a link to accept or decline.
If you use maeil to send invitations to others, you represent and warrant that:
You may not use the Service to send unsolicited messages, spam, or any content that is unlawful, harassing, deceptive, or harmful. Violation of this provision may result in immediate termination of your account.
Paid plans are billed through Stripe. Personal plans (Standard, Power) are billed yearly; automation plans (Builder, Business) are billed monthly. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law.
Paid individual plans (Standard and Power) are for one person's own use. Power adds MCP & API access for that personal use — using maeil through your own AI assistant, scripts, or tools, including for your own meetings as a business owner. Sending limits are a single combined total across the dashboard and any personal automation or MCP connection (not separate allowances): Free — 3 to start, then 1 per month; Standard — 150 per month (25 per day); Power — 250 per month (40 per day). If you consistently need more, or you are using maeil to run a business, product, or team rather than for your own scheduling, that is what the Builder and Business plans are for.
A Personal account is for a single person and is non-transferable. It may not be shared between people, resold, or used to run a shared sending service, team, or product on one seat. Using maeil for a business — powering the business's scheduling, embedding it in a product, team or shared sending, programmatic webhooks/callbacks, or unattended or high-volume automation — requires a metered Builder or Business plan: Builder includes 1,500 sends per month, then $0.05 per send; Business includes 5,000 sends per month, then $0.05 per send. Personal use through your own AI assistant or scripts is welcome on individual plans; running a business or product on a Personal plan is not.
We may apply rate limits, require an upgrade, or suspend an account that exceeds fair use, generates excessive opt-out (STOP) or spam complaints, or that we reasonably believe is being used to circumvent these limits.
Recipients may reply STOP at any time to opt out of further messages. Organizers must not attempt to circumvent or re-enroll opted-out recipients.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS." TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, CB INDUSTRIES LLC DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES AND SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Minnesota, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
